Description

This painting was inspired by the 10th anniversary of 911. As a military veteran I was especially moved to create this piece. The strength and courage of all of the first responders to this tragedy will never (and should never) be forgotten. Those brave individuals that were running INTO the buildings when everyone else was running OUT. These are the same "types" of brave individuals that founded our country and risked their lives so we could enjoy the freedoms we do today. All too often we forget about the sacrifices of others. We also seem to take most of our freedom and liberties for granted. Remember and honor all of those that have put their lives on the line to protect our freedom and secure our safety for without them none of it would be possible. Freedom isn't "free".
