"Maybe I'm Amazed" is a song written by Paul McCartney that was first released on his 1970 album McCartney. McCartney dedicated the song to his wife, Linda, who had helped him get through the break-up of the Beatles. A live performance by McCartney's later band Wings from its 1976 tour of America was released as a single. It became a top-ten hit in the United States and reached number 26 in the United Kingdom. The original studio version from McCartney has never been released as a single. McCartney wrote the song in 1969, just before the Beatles' break-up. He credited his wife Linda with helping him get through the difficult time. Although most of his debut solo album was recorded at his farm in Scotland, McCartney recorded "Maybe I'm Amazed" entirely in EMI's Number Two studio in Abbey Road in London, where he was mixing "Every Night". I have been drawing and painting for almost 50 years now starting with that first box of Crayola 64 crayons I received when I was five years old. Over the years I experimented with pencils, markers, pastels, oils, acrylics, inks, and mixed media. I was and still am a HUGE fan of such Fantasy Artists as Boris Vallejo, Frank Frazetta, Larry Elmore, and Keith Parkinson, just to name a few. I often would sit and draw fantasy creatures and castles along with some surrealistic landscape visions. About 25 years ago I started learning to airbrush and added that to my repertoire.
