Apology Not Accepted is another original work from the Twisted mind of PaintingsByDarren. This acrylic ink on canvas painting depicts a woman's hand crushing a rose. The implication is that her lesser half had tried to apologize by getting her flowers. Sometimes the mistakes that we as men often make, cannot be apologized for just by buying flowers. It may be something that was said like when she asks " does this dress make my butt look big"? and you opt to plead the fifth (bad choice). Or when she asks "How do I look" and you answer "fine" (never a GOOD answer, they want positive adjectives). The softly blended airbrushed details in this painting against the dark earth-toned background makes for a striking piece and would go with ANY decor. This emotive creation is SURE to be a conversation starter and would make a great "divorce party" gift!! About Darren Robinson
I have been drawing and painting for almost 50 years now starting with that first box of Crayola 64 crayons I received when I was five years old. Over the years I experimented with pencils, markers, pastels, oils, acrylics, inks, and mixed media. I was and still am a HUGE fan of such Fantasy Artists as Boris Vallejo, Frank Frazetta, Larry Elmore, and Keith Parkinson, just to name a few. I often would sit and draw fantasy creatures and castles along with some surrealistic landscape visions. About 25 years ago I started learning to airbrush and added that to my repertoire.
