Description
Apology Not Accepted is another original work from the Twisted mind of PaintingsByDarren. This acrylic ink on canvas painting depicts a woman's hand crushing a rose. The implication is that her lesser half had tried to apologize by getting her flowers. Sometimes the mistakes that we as men often make, cannot be apologized for just by buying flowers. It may be something that was said like when she asks " does this dress make my butt look big"? and you opt to plead the fifth (bad choice). Or when she asks "How do I look" and you answer "fine" (never a GOOD answer, they want positive adjectives). The softly blended airbrushed details in this painting against the dark earth-toned background makes for a striking piece and would go with ANY decor. This emotive creation is SURE to be a conversation starter and would make a great "divorce party" gift!! It is also available as a greeting card although I think the term "greeting" should be replaced with a different word in this case. I hope it brings a smile to your face as it did to me as I was creating it. This selection may lead to a series of paintings entitled "Empowering Women." If this offends any men out there, I would suggest you Get a Sense of Humor. Then come back to view this.
